Boarding
I'm sitting here at the gate, taking a crooked photo of a plane, pretty exhausted, and VERY excited. It's here, after so much planning and anticipation...now the safari truly begins. The action part is NOW. There are 57 volunteers all headed to Tanzania, and I am sure every single one of us will come back to the US as different people. This could be post 1 of 288,436, or 1 of 24. I don't know if I'll have access to any networks in my village, and I don't know how the immersion will change me. My goal is to write, regardless, and post at least a little about my experience. I want to take it all in. THIS, being all full of READY-NESS and eagerness ( and being tired) is all a part of it. I am so grateful I get to live my dream. I'll write more coherently for the next one, I promise :) - Sandra
